Babulal Gaur, who was elected the new leader of the Madhya Pradesh BJP Legislature Party on Monday, has said he will make way for the outgoing chief minister Uma Bharti if the courts give her a clean chit in a riot case.
The suspended BJP leader said demolition was not on the agenda at all.
Bharti said she is a sanyasin who entered public life on the issue of Ram and roti and that she will continue to fight for these causes.
The Upper House did not transact any business and was adjourned for the day.
Uma Bharti has refused to disclose the contents of her reply.

"I have expressed my regrets for my conduct [in the November 10 meeting] and for hurting Advani. I have left the decision [on revocation of suspension] to Advani," Bharti said.
